REF REVIEW Keith Welsby from ESP We are slightly mystified by this review as we went to great lengths to get this putty dead right. Several formulation samples were tested and rejected before we changed to a completely different polymer which achieved all the desired properties: optimum density, elasticity and adhesion and hardens slightly in water. During the testing process, we found this tungsten putty to be the best we had ever used; it really does tick all the boxes. We found it moulds and adheres perfectly around swivels, knots and hook links for a wide variety of rig permutations. Unlike some puttys there is no chemical type smell (ESP Tungsten putty is completely odorless) and the colours are just right. Everything you need from an effective tungsten putty and all the positive feedback we have received, both during the testing process and since the product was launched onto the market tends to back this up. In fact, this review is the first negative comment we have heard. The user review does not allude to what sort of rig material he was using but it could be that he did not mould it properly and securely around the hook link for it to slip.

I was dissapointed 1st time out using this putty. I found that after casting the putty was moving along the hair rig. I was using a 2oz lead for the required distance to my target, and on retrieve the putty ended up too close to my bait. I was using an 8 inch hair rig to an 8" s hook, with a pop up 15mm pineapple boilie. In the end i decided to go back to an ssg shot pinched 2 inches from the hook, happy days , i caught all day!!

ESP Tungsten Putty has exactly the right density, abrasion and malleability, hardening slightly in water to provide excellent durability. moulded around swivels or hook links it is perfect material for balancing pop-ups.
Available in Weedy Green, Camo Brown and Choddy Silt, it can be matched to the lake bed or different colours can be combined to create a multi camouflage effect. As with all hard, dense putty it becomes more malleable when stretched, moulded and warmed by working with the hands.
